Please note college interns can receive college credits for interning as a volunteer for any of the positions below.

Receptionist

Hours 9am-1pm, 1pm-6pm, 6pm-10pm
Weekdays and Weekends
Description: Answering 1800 hotline, routing calls, keeping detailed logs of all phone calls. Answering basic questions pertinent  to the foundations programs.

Social Media Management

Hours: On Going
Time Slots: 7am-9am, 9am-1pm, 1pm-5pm, 5pm-9pm, overnight.
Weekdays and Weekends
Volunteer will be responsible for updating our social networking accounts, engaging users, promoting events,building network, daily reporting to our marketing department is required.

Online Chat Monitor

Chat From Anywhere Anytime Direct From Your Phone
Hours 9am-1pm, 1pm-
Answer online chat requests via gchat or mobile application. Keep detailed logos of conversations, forward chats to the necessary parties, answer basic questions in reference to the foundation.

Corporate Fundraiser

Hours:N/A
Coordinate corporate fundraising.
Call, email and write letters to corporations to raise awareness of the HSRF cause. Set up corporate donations, events, and fundraisers. Applicant must have fundraising experience. Applicants must have experience or the ability to secure large donations and coordinate large online and offline fundraising events.

Grant Writer

Write grant applications for HSRF
Hours: N/A
Research and apply for available grants from state and federal agencies. Applicant must have grant writing experience or be a licensed attorney.

Team Leaders

Volunteer Team Leaders For Your Community
Hours – Nights and Weekends/Full Time.
Organize volunteers in your area for donation drop offs, cleanups, rebuild projects, fundraising drives, shelter assistance, media coverage and more.Coordinate skilled volunteers and assign tasks ranging from construction projects, donation sorting, social networking, blogging, and photography. Please do not apply if you do not have the time to keep a large team organized. .

Skilled Tradesman

Carpenters, Contractors, Electricians, Plumbers,
Heavy Machine Operators.
Hours: Open – Weekends
Skilled tradesman are needed to help in debris removal, rebuilding efforts, and minor renovations. Teams are a plus! We are always in need of drayman, trucks and heavy equipment as well.

Blogger/Data Propagation

Bloggers and Data propagation teams.
Hours: On Going
Blog about Hurricane Sandy Relief. Articles will be featured on the home page of our website, and linked to all of our social media outlets. Data propagators are needed to scrape the web new information, articles, photos, websites, and blogs pertinent to the Hurricane Sandy Relief Foundation.
